Housing Action Lab Impact Report 2014-2017

This report outlines the work of the Housing Action Lab (HAL) from 2014 to 2017. HAL was formed in 2014 in response to a fragmented housing system, where people working for change found themselves isolated and without a strong common voice or plan of action.

In response, Evergreen and its partners developed the GTA Housing Action Lab to establish a shared narrative, identify solutions and catalyze action to pilot new ways forward in building, planning and public policy.

Over the last three years, HAL has worked to increase trust and cohesion, catalyze action, and build a more complete and sustainable regional housing system.
