Evergreen's Visiting Schools Program
Registration is open for Evergreen's Visiting Schools Program, for the 2022-2023 School Year!
Join us at Evergreen Brick Works or virtually to explore Ontario’s wild side through a curriculum-connected adventure with your class.
“The programs at Evergreen Brickworks, whether virtual or in person, are amazing! The focus on local flora and fauna makes these programs unique and essential in helping children build a genuine reciprocal connection to the land. The educators are filled with enthusiasm and meet each class at their level.”
Thank you to the LCBO Spirit of Sustainability campaign for making virtual programs free for public schools across Ontario!
New photographic panels in the garden mounds at the Brick Works
Evergreen is delighted to present Sandra Brewster’s photographic installation, Roots, a project that explores the long history and memory of Black presence in the urban wilderness. Brewster documented local plant life during her time as the Koerner Artist in Residence at Evergreen Brick Works, and panels bearing their imagery stand in conversation with large-scale photographic prints of the same panels at the back of the site.
This project is supported by Ontario Arts Council, the CONTACT Photography Festival, Canada Council for the Arts and the Toronto Arts Council.

While our summer draws to a close, we are excited to announce the return of our Camps and Clubs for Fall 2022! Our Nature School, Sprouts and PA Day Camps will resume the week of October 3. Registration for all three programs opens on August 30 at 9 am.
Evergreen Brick Works limited-edition 2022 tote bag
This is the perfect bag to bring with you to the Saturday Farmers Market. It holds lots of fruits and veggies (we’ve tested it out ourselves) and it even has a zipped pocket!
What makes it even cooler? It's designed by local illustrator, Flo Leung, and is ethically sourced from Progoti Apparel.
So many of the best things about the Saturday Farmers Market have been incorporated into the illustration on the bag, like the vendors, the Pavilions, pups and more.
Find this limited-edition tote at the Evergreen Garden Market and the Sipping Container at Evergreen Brick Works. It’s on sale right now for $36.
